Given a pure motive M, Beilinson's conjectures relate the first non zero term of the Taylor expansion at zero of the L-function of M to 1-extensions between the trivial motive and M. We will present some results in direction of this conjecture for the degree 4 L-function associated to a cuspidal automorphic representation of the symplectic group GSp(4).
