Abstract: We discuss joint work with Sabin Cautis and Joel Kamnitzer constructing categorical sl(2) actions on derived categories of coherent sheaves on quiver varieties, focusing on the case of cotangent bundles to grassmanians. As an application, we construct explicit equivalences between the derived categories for cotangent bundles to different grassmanians following ideas of Chuang-Rouquier.
